This one was completely overlooked by most people, perhaps because it's what some might consider a documentary but what I perceive as fucked-up real-life-writes-thrillers sort of genre. Moreover, we all went through it at some point: fake Facebook profiles, getting it on with somebody you met online and having that inexplainable pang of regret once you realize that virtual reality beats the plain ol' reality.
The less you know about this movie, the better. I had no idea what it was about aside from some taglines and general plot of how a young New York photographer meets some girl on Facebook (she's 8), who is a talented painter, and finds himself networking with her family and falling for her elder sister.
Naturally, things are not what they seem. You know that from the start, you just have to wait and see the level of insanity that creeps out of every corner. The filmmakers are completely unknown, as is the case with most of the documentaries, but what makes this one special is...wait for it....it's so much fun! No documentary equals boredom equations here. Actually, far from it!
Give it a go. I highly recommend that you do. 8 out of 10.
