Casino Jack lost his aces.

I know I'm a bit late with this one, but it deserves a review here. After all, it stars Kevin Spacey who is undoubtedly one of the all-time greats.

The film itself is an unconventional comedy with a story that has elements of drama and a lot of - let's call them - strategic calculations. Basically, it's lobbying. It's ass kissing to the government officials for the purpose of promoting another, or getting yourself inside a firm's / corporation's / whatever's management where you have the ability to take a decent percentage off their earnings.

The characters are very well portrayed and the set pace is perfectly suited for the viewers. I already mentioned Kevin Spacey, and I honestly believe that his name is sufficient. Seriously, nothing more should be said.
Barry Pepper also did a fantastic job. He's on the rise, and although he's a bit of a slime type o' guy, I'm glad to see it.

In the end, it's a pretty decent picture. However, it is mediocre-ish. It takes 7 out of 10.
