Well, to be honest, I'm not quite sure how to start this review since the movie is extremely dumb with an even more unbearable beginning. Obviously, it's one those stupid teen comedies, but the difference here is that the film embraces that aspect and works on it. To put it differently, the film knows it's a stupid fucking comedy and makes a parody of itself. Just like The Losers did last year.
It quite successfully ridicules every other teen horror/comedy flick out there. And, at the same time, it's trying to shatter all the prejudice involving rednecks and the whole white trash mentality. The film is, in essence, a series of unfortunate events which are awfully twisted by the US college bright minds' perspective. The result of all these events is an epic clash between the "future intellectuals" and the simple, laid back country folk who are just trying to get by.
So, if you have nothing to do in the afternoon and you'd like a semi-laughable film with a lot of eye rolling moments, you should see this. It's so stupid, it works!
