It is a pure unequivocal fact that Nicolas Cage, a fucking part of the Coppola family, hasn't had a decent movie in a decade! Whoever thinks otherwise is in denial.
Now, this latest endeavor of his is a whole new level of bad decisions, as well as acting. To be frank, my level of disgust leaves me quite speechless, so it is extremely difficult to write anything on the given horrid subject.
What I can firmly state is that this failure of a film is a new candidate, and my personal favourite, for Hollywood's throne of really-fucking-dumb movies. All in all, it gives a display of some horrible acting, a story that would mentally drown even the brightest among us and a runtime that, although appropriately short, kills brain cells.
If you want to watch a film in which Nicolas Cage drives a car, do yourself a favour - watch Gone in Sixty Seconds.
William Fichtner's winks give the film 2 out of 10.
Also, 2D rules supreme.
