Margin Call just managed to pull through.

Well, hello mister all-star cast film! What do you have for us today? Another behind-the-desk salespeople flick? Really?! Okay, I'll sit this one out with ya, but just because of Kevin Spacey.

Actually, not much can be said about the film itself. It's an extremely unaccomplished thriller. The story is quite boring, unless you have a degree in economy and love to sit behind the desk pushing numbers. However, if you're not in that particular group, all that remains for you is to enjoy the wonderful cast it came with. Starting of with the almighty Kevin Spacey who is, like already mentioned, the reason I watched this in the first place. He's simply awesome and every one of his movies is a must, so that's that. Next is the legend that is Stanley Tucci, and he is just an overall amazing actor who always brights up the screen. Jeremy fucking badass macho Irons is up next and the adjectives have, I believe, said enough. Demi Moore is the the milf in charge and despite the noticeable age, she's still got it! One of my all-time favorites and a screen gem is Paul Bettany with his distinctive articulation. Also, it is great to see rising stars Zachary Quinto and Penn Badgley who, in all judgement, have a bright future ahead of themselves. Simon Baker is also in it, but I've always considered him a douche. Don't really know why, he's okay actually.

So, with a lame and already seen story, it doesn't really rate high. But, the incredible cast pulls it out of the gutter.

Weak 7 out of 10.

P.S. Mary McDonnell cameo! Haven't seen that woman in a while.
