Straw Dogs - stick to the original.

Sarcasm is defined as saying something really nice that is meant to be understood as its complete opposite. It's that favorite of all the art forms of written-oral expression that is a unique gift...and a curse.

So, when one says "Lady Gaga is brilliant", one simply has to assume that it's the sarcasm talking - much like the one where I say how I simply adore remakes of classic, epic, ground breaking movies. For, who wouldn't want to watch them again with a different cast, some 20, 30 years later?

Come on! You can't substitute Dustin Hoffman with James Marsden. Dustin is an institution. You can't expect me to be forced to watch Alexander Skarsgard's True Blood approach to acting and not get a diarrhea and you can't possibly want me to root for Kate Bosworth's portrayal of what one can only define as a "white, spoilt bitch" and not say, you go rape that! She deserves it.

So, yeah, this movie's a fail on so many levels.
Watch the original, it's a masterpiece.

And this one barely gets 5 out of 10.
