The American...should have stayed in America.

You have about 2 hours of free time, nothing to do, feel sleepy but want to keep your eyes opened? A spy thriller that starts mysteriously, goes on and finishes like that, but still leaves your mind full of nothingness sounds like a thing for you.
One warning: if you're expecting full-time action, get ready to be disappointed.

This movie doesn't tell much about itself. It is only presented as a bunch of frames with couple of sentences, leaving the viewer freedom of concluding how important every action (in Jack's case 'look' would be the word cause he really doesn't like talking) is. Doesn't sound that bad, for now.

So, he is Jack (George Clooney), quiet, a very quiet badass assassin that has no family. After getting disturbed in Sweden, Italy comes up as his next destination. He settles down in a small village waiting for the next job. Typically - this is going to be his last one. He is being told that his trigger finger would not be needed. Yeah, building a special non-traceable rifle seemed like an easy retirement job for Jack.

Good start.
Then comes the rest of the movie.

But, let's move on. Storytelling is so full of thrills (not), spins (not!) and nothingness (bullseye) that I couldn't resist mentioning one thing that occupied my mind during these 2 hours: somehow, even after working with all that machinery, Jack's nails never got dirty.

The thing is, movie stays the same all the way up till the end. It's like repeating 60 seconds constantly. And considering the fact that most of the minutes are black holes, things get fucked up.
Yet, I must admit there are a lot of pretty shots, nicely composed images and good camera all leading up to...nothing - here we are again with the most used word in this review, I'd say. But hey, at the very end of 104th minute...ok, I'm lying. Starting from the end of 38th minute, and all the way up until 104th, there was another(!) thing on my mind: can't wait to open my fridge!

There you go, nice try - weak 3 out of 10.
