Tangled - a sensational masterpiece.

Loads of success for Disney's 50th animated motion picture, and well deserved. Great songs and musical compositions, as usual. Excellent voice work. And lots and lots of witty humor.

What strikes me first is the cast. No hotshot movie stars promoting themselves and ruining the overall feel of the movie. No dumb trademark phrases. Just pure fun brilliantly orchestrated. Hey, before you IMDb Nazis send me to hell, I'll mention Ron Perlman for myself. It is my belief that he is the biggest star in this one, but it's a minor part, so my writings are still on par. There you go.

Now, the movie is obviously about Rapunzel and her lovely golden hair, but with a few extra twists and turns. Of course, it's not quite the original story, but this one manages to captivate your attention and imagination even better. Both protagonists and antagonists are well shaped and presented, thus giving you the ability to fully plunge yourself into the film. The animation is also worth mentioning. Human movements and emotions are captured perfectly and really had me stunned.
The songs are incredible, it's Disney for crying outloud! And someone should really give Mother Gothel, who is voiced by Donna Murphy, a singing Oscar or something. She really nailed it, gave me goose bumps throughout her songs.

So, all in all, it's truly a wonderful animated movie. Whoever you are and whatever you like - you shouldn't miss it. It gets 9 out of 10 in my book.
