Well, well... I haven't seen this broad since she fucked Billy Bob. No, wait, I'm lying. I've seen her in Catwoman, but it doesn't count since that wasn't a movie.
Is it me or is she repeating herself in the last ten years? I mean, this would be the third time she's portraying a woman with multiple personality disorders or just plainly fucked in the head. Remember Catwoman? How about Gothika? However, this one tackles the subject a bit more seriously than the other two. It's mental all the way.
The story is inspired by true events and put together very well, and it's always keeping you wanting more by showing you only bits of the puzzle. Halle portrays three characters in the film, sharing one body, naturally. If we put the retarded one aside, the other two are very well played. Good job on the accents, girlfriend! Also, there's this Swedish guy from that Exorcist: The Beginning film. I think that's the only film I ever noticed Stellan Skarsgård in, but he did a fantastic job with his part in this one. Way to go, dude.
In conclusion, an excellent moving story which unfortunately failed to actually move anyone. Don't get me wrong, you get the weight of it, but it doesn't hold out to the end. It gets 7 out of 10.
