Vanishing on 7th Street

Oh, man... After watching this one I asked myself and Ohnoes would it be morally acceptable to write the word "dumb" two hundred and fifty times instead of writing a normal review. We still haven't figured out the answer.

So, while we're debating on that, I might as well write a normal-ish review. The story of the film is as follows: There's a huge power outage, consequently followed by pitch black darkness and people disappearing in a very mysterious manner leaving behind only their clothes and variety of accessories. Yeah, I know. Wait, there's more. The forces doing all this are represented as mystic dark shadows which, being afraid of the light, even made the days shorter, leaving our protagonists not knowing will the Sun come out at all!

How will they cope with their new surroundings? Will they give in to the new order of nature? Can they trust their own minds? Will they even survive?

Oh, yeah, I guess I could mention the cast while I'm at it. It stars that blonde guy Hayden Christiensen, Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo. Hell of a crowd...

You know what, I'm not even going to rate this. I just don't care.
