Fucking Hollywood.
My dislike for Rogen has been of a constant, unshakeable and durable nature - regardless of his efforts of late to do something with his physique. I just don't like him. End of story. Diaz, on the other hand, is old for the parts of femme fatales and if she were playing one in this movie, I would just laugh it off. But, turns out that her role in The Green Hornet is absolutely redundant: not a seductress, not a sidekick, what the hell is she supposed to be anyways?! The Chinese guy, no idea who he is - google says he's some reality Taiwanese star. Multicultural Hollywood, as always. That's why Christoph Waltz is in it too, I guess. It it sad to see admiral Adama of Battlestar Galactica sink to this level but, to balance things off, one gets to see Edward Furlong on screen for five minutes before being shot down...Oh, Eddie, whatever happened to the days of your Terminator fame?
Anyhow, there is no continuity in the story, nothing gets resolved, the ending suggests the sequel - as is always the case, plot wholes are plentiful and stupidity rules all around, together with Rogen's all-American retardness. It's as if he just stepped out of some MTV scripted show - judging by his interviews, he still lives in one.
4 out of 10 (for the cars displayed).
